Summer is finally here! Whether you love the Sunday farmer’s market or are an Instacart junkie, produce is at its finest, and we want to help you take advantage of it.  

We’d also like to introduce you to a new member of the Creating Refuge team, Chef Rachel Barnes. Rachel believes food has great power to bring people together, and we couldn’t agree more. Our team had the opportunity to gather with Rachel for a day of cooking, eating, and laughter. We learned some of the basics as well as techniques we thought were strictly for the professionals. We love learning from experts, and Rachel is just as much a teacher as a chef - her ability to share her knowledge is evident in the simplest task to the most advanced. We are so excited to share our learning with you!
